hi Grant. glad you like the Miles piece. The piece is on wood about 48 x 36 . I painted the bokcgraund with a light wash of acrylic paints. the added some spray paint to give it the dotted texture. i designed the miles piece off one of Miles' album covers. i simplified my drawing by reducing the number of colors i planned on using. then drew it on the wood and painted it over with acrylic. this took a lot of layers and forever to do. redid his face until i was happy with it.
